シャーマンは、楽器を精霊との仲介に使用します。ソ連時代に迫害された北シベリアのシャーマンにとって、最も重要な楽器は太鼓で、雷に打たれた木で製作されていました。今もどこかで、生き残ったシャーマンは、太鼓を叩いていると思っています。

Shamans use musical instruments to mediate between spirits and themselves. Drums are the most important instrument for shamans in the north Siberia persecuted in the era of the Soviet Union, which were made of wood struck by lightning. I imagine that the surviving shamans are still playing drums somewhere.
