invisible worla

The global pandemic of the new coronavirus drew attention the invisible presence of microorganisms. On this planet where we live, microorganisms including viruses are filled with air, soil and rivers. Most microorganisms are “Good bacteriums” that is indispensable for keeping balance of the ecosystem and maintain human health, but there are “bad bacteriums" among them like coronaviruses and "computer virus". Sometimes we can’t see it, not because it’s small in size but because of our indifference, For example, the worst refugee increase in history (more than 70 million people) and children out of school(more than 100 million people). These are also ”invisible" factors that can can affect the world. And sound. We can't imagine an environment without sound. Although it is treated lightly compared to the sight. Sound is an "invisible"entity that affects human behavior. All works will be sold in auction style, and 10% of the sales will be donated to Malala Fund which supports girls' education in developing countries. (about Malala fund →www.malala.org ) During the exhibition, we are planning to have a talk event by Ph.D. Mr. ITO Hiromu, who graduated from the engineering department and researched infectious diseases using ecological evolution and mathematical models. He will talk about infection control from the perspective of the pathogen.
